Today, I’m joined by Paul Frank, the chief instructor of Tenshin Shōden Katori Shintō-ryū at the Budo Society. With a martial arts journey that began in 1982, Paul holds a 3rd Dan in Aikido and ranks in Karate and Tae Kwon Do, along with experience in iaido.
In 2005, he was officially recognized as a Katori Shintō-ryū teacher by Sugawara Sensei, who granted him a Kyoshi (teacher’s) License.
Beyond martial arts, Paul has an extensive background in the healing arts, earning his Registered Nurse degree in 1996 and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2000.
Paul is also a dedicated husband and father of two.
Join me as we dive into his martial arts journey, the philosophy of Katori Shintō-ryū, and much more!
